In this collection , D&G is inspired by Swinging London . It is a catchall term applied to dynamic cultural trends in the United Kingdom , centred in London , in the second half of the 1960s . One of the icon of swinging London is Jean Shrimpton . She possessing some of the gamine features that also made a huge success . Her face appeared on the covers of Vogue , Harper's Bazaar and Vanity Fair magazines.

Who is Jean Shrimpton?
Jean Shrimpton (born 7 November 1942 in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire) is an English Supermodel and actress. Nicknamed "The Shrimp", she was an icon of Swinging Sixties London, possessing some of the gamine features that also made a huge success of the younger Twiggy. Her face appeared on the covers of Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and Vanity Fair magazines. She starred alongside Paul Jones in the 1967 movie Privilege.




So, this collection use color which show luxury like camel , purple and black.




And Sophisticated accords of dark blue and black determine the palette of colours which includes as well camel, purple and grey .Also , the show crescendoed with the label's familiar parade of Oscar gowns—this collection done in white and silver, the girls standing on the mirrored runway all a-twinkle and aquiver with Austrian crystal and exotically sculpted feathers.
